Air for ROJO®inna

In late summer 2006, I was invited, along with 29 other artists, to participate in a corporate collaboration with ROJO® (Barcelona), and Nike shoes.

The concept for the magazine would be a loose interpretation by the artist of Nike's AirMax shoe line. The artists were given digital files of the entire history of the shoe and asked to use them as inspiration for a series of works that would be published in a limited edition issue of ROJO® titled ROJO®inna.

I decided to use the concept of Air by making a series of collages based on Air idioms. I did some research and found a huge list of such idioms. This collage work is the result of the investigation.
