WOOMERA

Woomera is on the Stuart Highway, which runs from Adelaide to Darwin in North Australia. Its name stems from the Aboriginal weapon of the same name (woomera), a centrifugal throwing spear.

The Woomera series focuses on the history of British atom tests in the area around Woomera and shows traces of this history through the associative blending of image views.
